Having a backup plan means every problem encountered will be unnoticeable and you can immediately fix the problem.

Honesty is the best policy. If something does go wrong, don’t panic! Instead,  explain to your guests the situation and that you’re doing something about it. They might feel a bit frustrated but they’ll appreciate you telling them the truth.
